Bauchi Gov mourns death of Darazo District Head

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed on Sunday described as a great loss, the demise of the District Head of Darazo, Alhaji Mohammed Bababa.

The Governor was speaking when he led top government officials on a condolence visit at his palace in Darazo.

The Governor said that the late Mohammed Bababa was a reliable and respected traditional ruler who worked for the best interest of his people and Bauchi Emirate.

He noted that the deceased had exhibited high sense of patriotism and maturity in the management of the District, pointing out that he would be remembered for his good deeds.

Bala Mohammed, on behalf of the government and people of Bauchi state, extended his condolences to Darazo District , Bauchi Emirate Council and the immediate family over for death of the traditional ruler.

While responding, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu, represented by Madakin Bauchi, Dr Baba Gidado, expressed gratitude to Governor Bala Mohammed for the condolence visit and prayed Almighty Allah to reward him abundantly.

The Governor was accompanied by the Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly, State PDP chairman, Chief of Staff, Principal Private Secretary, Honorable Commissioners of Water Resources and that of Local Government Affairs, party elders among others as contained in a statement Mukhtar Gidado, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Bauchi Governor.
